Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Websites can also use browser storage, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, in a similar way. This policy covers both. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information.

Essential cookies

Our store runs on Shopify, which uses essential cookies to keep your basket, run the checkout, keep the store secure, remember your cookie choices and run our website chat. These are needed for the website to work, so they cannot be switched off. Shopify explains its cookies in its Cookie Policy.

Analytics and marketing cookies

Shopify’s analytics and marketing cookies help us understand how our store is used. They are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner. We do not use any other analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools. If we add any in future, they will only be used with your consent and we will update this policy.

Newsletter pop-up

Our newsletter pop-up uses your browser’s storage to remember when it was last shown, so it does not appear again for seven days, and whether you have already signed up. It also remembers the email address you signed up with and your welcome offer for up to 30 minutes, so the offer can be used at checkout. This information stays on your device and is not used for tracking.

Managing your choices

When you first visit our website, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, although this may empty your basket and reset your choices.
